This first picture is from yesterday afternoon and here's what the greeting committee looked like when Nora awoke from her nap. They love going in the rooms when the babies wake up. Avi always wants to stop in Nora's room after she awakes from her own nap.
Avi's recent morning arrival routine is saying "hi" to Lauralea first thing. So cute! And Lauralea is loving that too! Then Avilene and Hudson were at the book rack, emptied it on the floor and then sat to read their books. I love how this picture makes them look so calm and well mannered. There are 30 + books on the floor and right before I took the picture they were fighting for the same book. Ha! And then they are Best Buds! The World of Toddlers! Love it.
Here are 3 more pictures from this morning's activities. Hudson asked to have the steps tipped over so they could use the slide. He and Avi played on the slide over and over for 10 minutes or more. Then Avi moved on to the Flip Phones again and also was intentionally sticking the food toys with velcro to the heel of her sock. She loves experimenting with everything. LOVE her curiosity. One other note from this morning happened when Nora was in the middle of a big noisy (as in loud groaning) poop! She appeared to be in the throes of agony laying on her tummy stiff as a board yelling, with her face a couple of inches from the steps to the balance beam. Avilene heard the racket and came around the corner, looked at her, then went over and got beside Nora and looked at the steps to see what was causing the commotion! Cracked me up!! Have I mentioned how I like Avi's curiosity!? :)
