Avi - 5/5/2017

Avilene ate malt-o-meal cereal and dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of "beef kabob" meat, bites of brown rice, taste of zucchini, peppers, ate mushrooms, and ate pineapple.

I took this first picture yesterday afternoon when we were outside playing!  Avi was a riot to watch!  She was sprinting and running everywhere!  What a busy little girl!  Just a warning!!  This is the time of year every little child eventually gets skinned and bloody knees playing outside!  Some way more than others - believe me!!  It comes when we mix sidewalks and shorts!  I've been bragging about Avi's coordination every since she started walking so we'll see!  She was making me laugh yesterday.  She wouldn't even waste time going through the door of the playhouse on the patio!  She was going over the edge of the side opening!  :)

I never get tired of taking pictures of these little squirts!  Avi gets so excited when Nora comes!  She runs around Nora like a little puppy - going this way and that way, just can't hardly handle all the excitement!!  Then she gets on the floor and scoots along beside Nora.

Reid has been engaging with the little kids a lot more the past 2 or 3 weeks!  And they've been loving it!  He was "hiding" under the brown bear and the panda bear and saying, "Gary, guess where I'm at? Can you see me?!?"  That was an open invitation to the little ones when they heard him!  Then in the 4th picture Reid was pushing Hudson and Avi in the chair as fast as it would go.  And I think they were enjoying the ride!  (One time Cooper was having so much fun doing this exact same thing - and then he got dizzy, turned white, and puked!)  In the last picture - we usually get out the tunnels to crawl in on a rainy or snowy day!  But Reid asked for them and chose doing this instead of going outside this morning and that was fine.  We'll play outside this afternoon!  Sophie isn't here, but the other 3 kids crawled through the tunnel and Nora watched.  It wasn't that long ago that Avi was in Nora's spot; just watching!
