Avi - 6/1/2017

Avilene ate waffle and banana (instead of fruit salad) for breakfast.  She had bites of lunch: she had bites of shepard's pie which has hamburger, green beans, potatoes, and carrots.  She had bites of toasted rye bread and I withheld the cherries.

Here's a note from yesterday morning that I don't think I posted.  We were outside and Reid was arriving late - probably almost 11:00.  I spotted a small role-poly bug that had latched on to an ant and they were thrashing around on the patio.  (A miniature duel, but it was still a duel!  Ha!)  We were all gathered around watching and Avilene marches right up, bent down, and calmly pokes them and it caused the ant to escape!  Haha!  Cracked me up!  She's a bit fearless with the bugs.  :)

Here's a picture of the kids waving bye to one of the parents.  The new girl Atley is on the left, then it's Avi, Sophie, and Bubba.  Atley did so well this morning and she is going to be a great fit at Little Treasures!  She has a mild temperament and that works well for starting in a new place at her age!!

Here are some pictures from this morning's activities.  I had an important phone call to make so Lauralea covered for me between 9:30 - 10:00.  Lauralea was reading and Avi snuggled right into her arm and looked up at her.  It was so dang cute and Lauralea was loving it.  In the next picture Reid was having fun with Hudson and Avi on the mattress.  The last picture - I have the puzzles just outside the gate where the "older" ones can work on puzzles and not worry about the little ones grabbing pieces.  Well Sophie parked herself a bit too close and Atley was able to reach through the gate and grab a piece.  Atley, Nora, and Avi were watching Sophie do her puzzle magic.  (I've been letting Avi start working on puzzles when she wants to as well.)
