Avilene ate malt-o-meal cereal and plums for breakfast. For lunch she ate baked beef "kabobs," brown rice, some zucchini and peppers, and ate pineapple.
I love this first picture. She's a picture of determination just straining to get the headband on!! And she was successful. No surprise there! Love it!! She's been playing with the headbands and dress-up clothes a lot this week. And she leaves them on for a long time. (That means several minutes.) Some kids will work hard to get them on, but leave them on for just a few seconds at the most! There is a lesson there that I've learned over the years of childcare: It's usually way more about the process than the end product. And no extra charge for that insight!! Haha!!
Avilene was looking out the window and started saying, "mao, mao, mao..." Yup, you're right Avilene! The mailman is here!! Thank you for telling me! That was so cute! One of our daily events. She is talking so much now and I love it!!
Here are a couple more pictures from inside play this morning on the mattress! Avi was jumping and having a blast with Sophie, Hudson, and Reid. Baby Nora (although not in this picture) was laying in the middle of the mattress sucking her thumb. Totally unconcerned and feeling safe I guess! Ha! We also played outside and Avilene and Atley really weren't ready to come in at Lunch time.
