Avi - 10/5/2017

Avilene ate french toast and dried plums.  For lunch she ate pulled pork, most of whole wheat bread, bites of peas, and ate cantaloupe.

Several of you have asked about the results of the MRI from last week.  Thank you all for your love and concern.  Lauralea covered for me today while I talked over the results with the Doctor.  Thankfully there was nothing terrible that showed up that would require surgery or something drastic so we're going to continue to treat it with physical therapy for now.  He's scheduling me for an EMG to try to pinpoint whether it's nerve pain or muscle pain.  He has changed his mind and is now thinking it may be more nerve pain.  Anyhow, I'm grateful the pain has substantially decreased and I will continue doing what I'm doing.

This first picture is from yesterday afternoon when Riley was giving Nora and Avi rides in the wagon. Kenzie was flying around with Hudson!  They were having SO MUCH FUN!!  Laughing and squealing - look at Avi's face!  Hudson kept saying, "faster, faster, faster!!"

Atley was reading on the couch and Avilene joined her.  Atley was pointing out something to her and think their conversation went like this with Ately telling Avi, "Yes Avi I know the book is upside- down, but I prefer it that way!  I mean look at this bear!  Doesn't he look much more interesting and hilarious upside-down?!?  :)  I'm just posting the next picture of them waving bye to Nora's Dad so you can see Avi still had her hat on!!  :)  Then the picture of the after meal ritual hand touching with Nora in her highchair.  So cute.  Lauralea took the last picture while I was gone and she showed Avi how to put the little people on the pop-up toys and give them a ride!  Ha!
