Avilene ate whole wheat english muffin and a bite of oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of everything: ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce. She wanted it all mixed together when she was about half done and then she finished it off.
I was showing Lauralea a picture of Baby Svea (totally adorable) posted by Grandma Mary and then I showed it to Avi and asked, "Who's this?" She said, "My sister." Aww...Love. Precious.
I knew Nora was behind the igloo going poop and as soon as she was done and playing near Avi - Avi sounded the alarm: "Nora poopy Gary!" Avi is about the age where their sense of smell gets fully developed and they squeal on their friends! Ha! Actually it's a big help!
Here's a picture of Avi experimenting with something different - one of her favorite things to do - experiment!! This time it was a new way to rock the chair. Atley was sitting in the chair and Avi had it going pretty fast. :)
We had lots of fun doing some sign language this morning. Avi knows and remembers all of the ones we do and all the colors as well. She also was building with the legos again and used all blue like she did yesterday. (Have you heard her express what her favorite color is yet? That's the first time I've noticed her exclusively using one color.) Then we did some play dough and Atley had fun with that as well. We use cookie cutters, little rollers, pizza cutters, and plastic knifes and forks.
