Avi - 2/1/2018

Avilene ate toasted whole wheat english muffin and two servings of oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce.

I liked watching Hudson read the stories to Avi.  It's fun to see how much of the stories they can recall!  (Usually the parts that they like!!)  He kept saying, "Do you want me to read to you Avi!?!"

In the next picture Avi was initially playing in the chair by herself and then Hudson joined her.  She'd filled one of the chair pockets full of legos and said, "I'm going to Grandma's house with my legos." Then she got a doll blanket and added, "And my blanket!"  We also read lots of stories at Story time, sang songs, and did some dot painting at art time.

Here's a picture of Hudson and Avi working together on a puzzle.  These puzzles without pictures on the board are not Hudson's favorite!!  He said, "Can I do a puzzle that has a picture!?"  He asked Avi to help him and she moved right over to help!  She is kind of a puzzle wizard!!  These really are hard for this age group and if you look close at the picture you can see the shapes (they are cars) are all quite similar so that makes it even more difficult!  She worked at this one until she had it done!  (And never got frustrated!  Nicely done Avi!)
