Avi - 7/2/2018

Hi Everyone!  One of the funnest things about being gone is returning and seeing the kids again.  Lots of hugs and lots of excitement.  It's like a normal Monday after the weekend - except on steroids!  LOTS of reminders to everyone; "You're back at Little Treasures and you have to follow Gary's rules."  :)  But we had a great morning and those extra loves are so precious.  Avi was so sweet!  Lauralea and I had a very fun and relaxing vacation with lots of sightseeing, just being tourists, reading by the ocean, lots of hikes on lots of trails (Lauralea joined me if the trail was in the "easy" category), going places we'd never been, etc.  There is something so relaxing about the ocean for us.  Totally love it!!

Ok, you've probably noticed there are no pictures in today's Blog!!  My iPhone automatically uploads them to my computer of course so I'm not sure what the problem is!  I even tried connecting the phone directly to the computer and it still didn't do it!  So hopefully I'll get that taken care of tonight!  I love the pictures because they add so much to the Blog, but they also tell a visual story that is hard for me to tell!!  So the Blogs may be short and sweet today!

Avilene ate cheerios and bites of her banana serving for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, bites of whole wheat pita bread, no tomato, ate olives, bites of avocado, and ate watermelon.  I asked the kids at breakfast; "Who took care of you while Gary was gone?"  Avi was the only one who made an answer I could understand (Hudson will be back tomorrow); "No one!"  Haha!  Well I'm certainly glad you survived!  :)  She's funny!  Then she went on to say, "I went to the Flying Squirrel with Jackson and Audrey.  Then I'm going to a parade on Wednesday."  Hmmm...that story sounds familiar!  :)

Svea slept from 9:30 - 12:00 so she had a great nap this morning.  (She never rolled over in her crib.) She was laying in front of the mirror before her nap, rolled over onto her tummy, and then eventually rolled back over to her back side.  Avi commented on that; "Svea rolled over that way!"

Avi really likes Linnea and interacted with her several times this morning.  Linnea made it up to the window and was pounding on it and waving her arm around.  Avi was giggling about that and said, "Linnea is waving."  Later, Avi was "feeding" Linnea some of the food toys.  When Atley saw that she immediately started sticking food toys in Linnea's face too.  :)
