Avilene ate two servings of cream of wheat cereal and ate dried plums for breakfast. For lunch she ate several bites of baked beef kabobs with meat, zucchini, pineapple, and peppers. She ate several bites of brown rice and a large serving of pineapple on the side.
First picture: Look at this most darling Baby!! Dang! I want you to know that she's responsible for me occasionally procrastinating some work and just hanging out with her!! That amazing grin is just too difficult to walk away from! :) However, this morning I had to put her to bed for her own protection! Hudson was not watching and sat right on her head! Then Atley came off the couch backwards and gave her a little kick! I'm thankful these type of incidents are not very common. The kids are usually amazingly aware of the babies!! But Svea kept on grinning. :) I'll nominate her for the sweetest baby award!
Avi has always impressed me with her balance and physical awareness! This morning she impressed herself too! Ha! She kind of stumbled coming off the step at the window, but managed to stay upright! She said, "Hey! Did you see that!?! I stayed on my feet!!" :) Yes you certainly did!!
Next picture: Nora heard Hudson and Avilene inside the igloo, or as they call it; "our tent" and she sat and just listened to them while sucking her thumb and grinning. She couldn't see them, she was just listening. Someone may think she's sad or whatever because she's outside looking in, but that isn't the case. She is SO NOT interested in being on the inside. Especially with the doorway of the tent blocked shut. :) "Get me out of here!!"
All of the kids LOVE our Story Times and so do I!! (Which I believe helps them to love books as well!) One of our "special" books is a Dr Seuss book of "Terrible Tongue Twisters." All the kids remember an amazing amount of the stories and can finish so many lines even if we haven't read the books for a few weeks! So this morning I was ready to start the 2nd page and Atley said, "I like fresh fish!!" LOL! I roared! That was so cute and funny!! It starts like this; "Do you like fresh fish?" She obviously knew what was coming next!! It ends like this; "At Finney's, if you're wise, you'll say, Fetch me the finest french-fried freshest fish that Finney fries!!" :) And all the kids giggle and laugh. Last picture; We played outside again this morning and the kids again spent a LOT of time at the sand table.
