Avi & Svea - 9/17/2018

Avilene ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate turkey burger, half of whole wheat hamburger bun, no tomatoes, bite of avocado, and ate cherries.  Avi heard me ask Atley if she'd had a bite of tomatoes and she started saying, "Eat your tomatoes Atley, eat your tomatoes."  Hey Avi, have you had a bite of your tomatoes yet?  "No."  Busted!!  :)  (Neither of them like tomatoes!)

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and as always the kids are very busy on Monday morning toy exchange!  (The Preschool books and activities are now included in the toy exchange as well.)  Avi had time to work on two or three different trays before breakfast.  First picture: The large ring she's holding has her name spelled with little square lettered beads.  She's finding the letters of her name and putting them on the ring.  I think she did Nora's name too.

I have to include a couple pictures of Svea playing close to Linnea.  In the 2nd picture Linnea had 4 flip phones sitting in front of her and then she picked up two of them to hold.  Svea reached for one and Linnea yelled and took it out of her hand.  So now she had three phones!  Silly babies.  Thus the teaching begins!  :)  Are they born with social skills or an awareness of others?!?  Welcome to Little Treasures kids!!  :)

 

Last picture: Atley was playing with a purse and packing it full of stuff and said, "I'm going bye bye!"  Avi said, "Can I go with you?"  That sounded good to Atley; "Yes."  Then Atley said, "I'm going to the airport." Again Avi asked, "Can I go with you?"  It was still ok with Atley; "Yes."  Avilene was scurrying around packing her purse as well!!
