Avi & Svea - 9/7/2018

Avilene ate bites of cream of wheat cereal and bites of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she had several bites of baked beef kabobs with meat, peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, and pineapple.  She ate most of her brown rice and also ate a large serving of pineapple on the side.  At breakfast Avilene said, "I like the Packers."  So of course Atley mimicked that; "I like the Packers."  Avi wasn't impressed; "No you don't!! I like the Packers!"  Atley; "I like the Packers!"  And this continued for three or four more times.  :)

Only two of the regular Daycare kids are in this picture, but I'm posting it in all the Blogs to let everyone know that Reid is going to be coming after school (Kindergarten) to hang out for a couple of hours.  It won't be every day, but up to three days on some weeks.  Almost everyone knows Reid from earlier years and it's a joy to have him rejoin us.  He has two older brothers so we've had this family in our Program for over 13 years.  (Big brother is now a teenager!) Wow!  After building the wall in the picture he build a big box and then "steps" so the little ones could get in and out.  He said, "I built it so babies can get in.  Humans can get in."  (The implication being that babies aren't human!  Ha!)  So I asked, "Humans?"  He said, "Yeah, like me."  Haha!  Like I said, it's a joy to have this guy back!  He always made me laugh!!

Atley yelled, "Bug Gary! Bug!"  Avilene immediately grabbed it (earwig) and she said, "It's dead Gary." Well not really honey, it's wiggling.  Avi said, "Well it's a little bit dead."  Haha!  She cracks me up!  Always has an answer!!

Here are a couple pictures from this morning.  Svea sitting in front of one of the mirrors.  Totally a sweetie!!  This was always a favorite spot for Nora and now Linnea loves it as well.  Following picture - Avi said, "Hey Gary, I have the cars lined up!!"  :)  You kind of like doing that don't you Avilene?  "Yup!"  :)

In the next picture Avi and Atley were just hanging out in the igloo giggling and talking.  They turned away from me as soon as they saw me taking a picture.  Haha!  Last picture; They were on an airplane going to "Alaska" first then later the plane was headed to "Mexico!"  "We're late!"  "We gotta go to Alaska!"  "This is a fun plane ride!"  It looks pretty first class to me with food, toys, and a comfy seat!
