Avi - 1/2/2019

Avilene ate french toast and strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate whole 30 chili with sweet potatoes, tomatoes, and peppers.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and tropical fruit.  Avi, Atley, and Nora were singing one of our Daycare songs at the Lunch table; "My Mommy comes back, she always comes back, she never will forget me!"  It was pretty cute and they all three knew the words. (That's the chorus and there are two or three verses to it as well.)

Just another FYI about the Blogs now that Svea is also getting her own.  I've always done the Blogs in "chronological" order.  I don't know why, I guess because it's just an easy way to keep track as I move through them.  Anyhow, this means Svea's Blog will be posted much earlier (1 - 1.5 hrs) before Avi's.  If you want me to hold Svea's and post them at basically the same time, I can.  Let me know Molly if you have a preference!  I wanna keep Momma happy!!  :)

Here are a couple pictures of Avi at work at Little Treasures this morning.  She had a great morning, stayed busy, and was a good listener.  There are several battery powered cars in this toy set and the window sill is a fun place to run them.  (It works better than the carpet; even though it's a very short carpet.)  But as you can see from the picture, the road way gets very busy and occasionally a moment of road rage may occur!  :)  Second picture: Avi, Atley, and Nora doing some gluing at the table.

Last picture: Avi was practicing using the scissors and cutting pieces of paper and putting them into the bowl.  Then we use the pieces for gluing - see above picture.  :)  I love how focused Avi gets when doing different projects.  And using scissors is a good challenge for her.  She really works hard to get pieces cut off and she really gets focused!!  Plus, she worked at it for a long time!  Well done Avilene.
