During Story Time we read several books from the movie "Frozen" and Avi was intently on my case if I mis-pronounced one of the characters! Haha! (Sorry Avi; I've never seen the movie!) One was "Anna" and I simply pronounced it like "Ann" plus "uh." WRONG!! Haha! That cracked me up. Later she was on the floor by my feet while I was feeding Svea and I put my feet up on her like a foot stool. She said, "You gotta be kidding me!!" Haha! (A phrase I frequently use!) I loved it. Of course then she wanted me to keep doing it!
Here are some pictures from the morning activities in the preschool area. Nora and Atley were reading books and Avi was working on a puzzle from one of the activity trays. Right when I took the first picture Avi had her hand over the heat vent; just in case you zoom in on the picture and wonder about her expression!! She was feeling the heat and saying, "Ahhhhhh." Second picture they were doing some stickers and they really had to work hard! The backs on these particular stickers peel off with great difficulty! Especially the biggest hearts.
Last picture: Avi worked with the play dough long after everyone else was done. She was making shapes and numbers and working hard at it. She was also "borrowing" more play dough from what Nora had left behind. (On the far side of the table.)
