Avi - 7/1/2019

Avilene ate two servings of kix cereal and ate mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of ground turkey, most of whole wheat hamburger bun, no tomatoes, half of avocado, and ate cherries.

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and here are some pictures from Avi's morning; First picture she's helping Svea get the right shapes in the holes.  She asked, "Gary can I help Svea with the shapes?"  Yes! Thanks for asking!  Next picture; Putting on some pj's that are just barely big enough!  Bigger ones are on the way!  Ha!  Third picture: Got the pj's on, a robe and matching headband too, and she's lining up the frogs!!  Ha!

As usual Avilene did lots of different preschool activities.  They were doing some work with scissors and she said, "Hey Gary! We're doing some lining!!"  It's funny because it always sounds like; "We're doing some lying!!"  Here's what "lining" means: Using a marker to draw a line or lines on the paper and then cutting on the line.  :)  And she's does an impressive job of cutting on the line!

In this last picture she's working on a favorite puzzle.  So far she's the only one who can successfully complete this because it requires number recognition (1 - 10) and proper sequence of those numbers.  Then you can turn each piece over and do the puzzle in the opposite direction too.  It's a small puzzle,  but kind of tricky!
