Avi - 5/4/2020

Avilene ate whole wheat Chex cereal and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat hamburger bun, tomato, avocado, and two servings of mandarin oranges.  Avi was in big time "monitor mode" this morning and it lasted all morning!!  Here are some examples and it started at breakfast.  "Atley! I have told you not to talk with your mouth full of food!"  Haha

Atley and Nora were done with breakfast first and playing in the igloo.  They've been busted twice in the last month for hiding in the igloo and looking at each other's "bum bums."  (Atley's words.) Not a big deal and age appropriate, but Avi knows I don't want them too.  She said, "I'm gonna keep an eye on them."  Haha.  Thank you.

Another example; It was nap time and Avi was going to the bathroom and everyone else was on their nap mat.  I was grabbing some coffee in the kitchen.  Avi said, "Gary! Atley and Nora were talking!" "Gary! Atley lifted her leg up!"  "Gary! Nora moved her leg!"  All of which are minor nap time violations, but still violations!!  Haha!!  Thank you Avi.

First picture: Continuing with the monitoring theme!  Look at Avi's face; you can see she's serious about what she's saying!  She had a big pile of books and was reading them when Nora and Atley joined her.  She noticed the book Atley had and said, "I told Nora when she was done with that book to put it in this pile here!!"  In other words; Atley was NOT supposed to have that book!!  :)

Last two pictures; She always asks; "Did you get a picture of this!?!"  No, but I will.  :)  She explored lots of things this morning as it was toy exchange weekend.  Last picture; I love how the pictures she's been drawing are getting more detailed all the time.
