Avi - 6/1/2020

Avilene ate whole grain Chex cereal and peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat hamburger bun, avocado, and three servings of mandarin oranges.  Avi was messing around and being very sloppy at lunch - for example, sticking her thumb in her avocado and sucking it off her thumb - I said, "Avilene, you're eating like a piggy!!"  Avi said, "Do pigs eat with their thumbs!?!"  LOL!  Goofy kid.

Everyone was having a fun and busy morning.  It's Toy Exchange Monday and so they were all engaged with the new stuff and in this first picture Avi is checking out a new game we scored at a Garage Sale this weekend.  When I said that phrase to Avilene, she kind of went, "huh?"  So I said, "Yard Sale" and that was more recognizable to her!!  :)  This is a pretty cool game using shapes, colors, and following the patterns.  And it lights up.  Following picture: Avi and Atley were back to coloring (and some stickers) again regardless of the Toy Exchange.  Ha.

Last picture: Check out the expression on Miles' face!  So cute; he was chuckling as Avilene was gently tapping him with her nose.  What a fun and mellow little dude.  He loves the other kids and all the busyness of the Daycare/Preschool.  Avi will occasionally stop like you see here and talk to him and play with him.  That's pretty sweet and special, especially considering what a busy girl she is and how fast her brain is running.
