Avi - 3/6/2017

Avilene ate corn chex cereal and peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate some of everything: Hamburger with bun, lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, and ate her oranges.

I have to mention this in Avilene's Blog.  When Momma Molly was saying "bye" to Avi today Reid got out of his chair, went over to where she was standing and gave her the sweetest (unsolicited) hug goodbye.  I think that surprised you Molly and it certainly surprised me!!!  I want to tell you I don't remember ever seeing him do that before!!  He's a very sweet, loving and affectionate boy, but I've never seen him give one of the other parent's a hug like that!  Hope that gives your Monday a special boost!!  :)

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids stayed busy and engaged all morning.  (Pretty similar to the way Avi always operates!!)  In the first picture Hudson was showing Avi how to operate the toaster; Push this button down, then push this button, and watch the toast fly out of the toaster!  And of course, they use it for pancakes, eggs, and anything else they can jam in the toaster!  :)

Then it was Avi's turn to show Baby Nora how to operate this toy!  :)  There are 4 or 5 different buttons that make different animal sounds.  All the animals that match up with the toy are on the floor somewhere!!

I put this headband on Avi and she left it there for several minutes.  Little Cutie!!  Then she took it off, but left it perched on the top of her head.  You can see that she's concentrating to keep it balanced on her head and she actually moved around a little bit and it just sat there.  In the last picture I'd put another headband on Nora's head, but Avi decided it should be removed!  Ha!
