Avi - 1/8/2018

Avi ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate taco salad with bites of ground beef, ate olives, bites of tomato, ate avocado, whole grain pita bread, and a serving of watermelon.

First Picture: Avilene was so proud of herself for doing the "I love You" sign!  She said, "I love you Gary!"  I turned around and she was doing it perfectly!  I think someone was practicing this weekend. It was adorable and made my heart melt.  I love you Avilene!  (This is not easy for Toddlers - to have some fingers up and some fingers down!  She's doing it quite easily.)

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend so the kids were busy all morning checking out the new stuff!  I took this next picture when Hudson and Avilene were "resting" on the mattress.  I had to take a quick picture because their "rest time" was very short!  We also read lots of books.  During Story Time we were reading "The bear went over the mountain."  So I asked, "What did he see when he went over the mountain?"  And then I sang the 2nd verse very slow; "and all that he could see, and all that he could see was the other side of the mountain...."  What did he see when he went over the mountain?  Avi said, "elephant!"  Haha!  Perfect!  She gets points for imagination!  :)

I took this last picture when Avi and Atley were jumping on the hard floor instead of the mattress!   Makes my knees hurt just to watch them!  Avi was saying, "I jump over the blocks Gary."  And she did.
