Avi - 4/3/2018

Avilene ate whole wheat english muffin and half of dried plums for breakfast.  She ate most of her lunch: stir fry vegetables with chicken, brown rice, and oranges.

I took this first picture when Avi was playing with Linnea and I liked how Linnea was reaching for her.  Then shortly after I took this picture Avi and Hudson were chanting; "We found something in the sky Gary, we found something in the sky!!"  What!?!  I'm thinking maybe UFO!!  Nope, all the children were lined up at the window looking at a jet trail across the sky.  :)

(Plans changed and Nora is here today.)  I work hard to balance each child's needs with the entire group.  So I took this first picture to show you an example of something that can bug Nora; and it involved Avi.  (About 8 times during Story Time this morning, but who's counting!?!)  They sit in the exact same order every day on the couch while I read.  Avi is on the arm or "bump" (as we call it) of the couch and Nora is beside her and I'm beside Nora.  Avi's right leg kept relaxing and her knee would touch Nora (unintentional) and Nora would yelp.  Please straighten out your leg Avi.  (Thank you.  Repeat.  :)

This next picture comes out of one of our special books that we occasionally read at Story Time.  Every time we read it the kids say, "That's you Gary.  That looks like you Gary."  Haha!  Ok, I'm fine with that; I can see the resemblance.  Ha!  Anyhow, today Avi said, "What are you holding Gary?"  That is a pitchfork!  Hudson asked, "What do you use it for?"  To throw hay to my animals.  Isn't that the cutest.  I loved the dialogue!!
