Avi - 4/9/2018

Avilene ate several bites of whole grain chex cereal and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, half of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate half of lettuce and bite of tomatoes, and a large serving of oranges.  At lunch time Avi said, "Bubba's bib" probably three times before I realized she was trying to tell me that I'd put his bib on Linnea and I was busy feeding her! (Hudson is not here today - with Tutu and Pappy.)  Ha! Thanks Avilene!  Stinking color-coded bibs!  His bib and Linnea's look very similar to me, but they're probably NOT!  Avi pointed to where the bibs hang and said, "There's Linnea's bib."  (So Avi apparently thinks I'm slow as well as colorblind! Haha!)  Yes and thank you again Avi!!

Another cute Avi note from this morning!  She brought me some books to read while I was collecting books for Story Time.  Only after she said, "You're welcome Gary" did I realize I'd NOT said "thank you!"  That was SO cute.  "Thank you Avilene!"  What a doll.  I really DO have a legitimate excuse for having a hard time focusing on my work today!!  Sorry, but I can't help myself;  I have to include this in the Blog!!  My daughter in Louisiana is pregnant (after years of trying and Drs saying it probably wasn't gonna happen) and today they found out it's a boy and I've kind of been floating all morning!!!!!  :)  I have 2 granddaughters so this is very cool.

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this morning and the first thing Avilene did was ask for help putting on the frog suit and she kept it on for 2 hours.  At which time I changed a poopy diaper or she'd probably have kept it on all morning!  Here are five pictures from this morning and she's got the suit on in every picture.  Picture 1.  She wanted the lion mask on as well and here she is talking to Linnea.  Look at Linnea's face; the mask didn't bother her a bit!  Avi was saying, "I'll be right back!" 2. Avi playing with the food toys.  3. Walking blind covered with doll blankets.  4. Jumping blind. 5. The three girls patiently waiting for me to do Story Time!
