We had a good morning at Little Treasures: especially for a Monday! Ha! Actually Monday's aren't bad, they can just be a bit hectic from lots of weekend activity, maybe a different sleep schedule, and the kids adjusting to being back at Daycare. But it sure doesn't take long for them to be right back in the routine! And Avi had a very good morning and only complained once about "Very Tired!" That was close to lunch time and she was quickly running out of steam!!
I occasionally use a kitchen timer to remind myself for different things; when to start the rice (today), kids taking turns, etc. A couple weeks ago I was feeding Svea, the timer went off, and I asked Avi to go shut it off. I'd never showed her how to shut it off, but she immediately had it off. So that's become "her job" helping me shut off the timer. One other note; I've heard Avi say to Svea (several times), "I love you sixty pounds!!" Wow! That's a lot. :)
First picture: This made me laugh. Avi put on the lion suit backwards and Svea just stared at her. (Got those Viking colors on!! Big game in Seattle tonight!!) Ha! Second picture: Linnea crawled into the toy shelf and was pitching the toys out. And Svea was basically in the line of fire!!
Last two pictures: doing some preschool activites. Avi is in the background doing some drawing. In the last picture she is hooking the "chain link" together. Atley joined her and was thrilled because she managed to get one hooked together too!
