Sorry Avilene, but I gotta start your Blog with a picture of Svea! (Don't worry Avi! In a month I'll start Svea's own Blog!) Love this picture! Best greeting ever!! :) I love you too Svea and I'm glad you're here today! (And I guarantee you there is NO santa claus here to terrorize you either!! Ha!) Speaking of Svea, Avi sometimes will stop and give her sister the sweetest loves and it's adorable. I told Avi; "She's getting bigger and you guys can play together and be lifelong best buds!! Avi said, "We can watch TV together!!" Haha!
We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids were busy and engaged all morning. I took this first picture when Avi was looking through the viewfinder binoculars and saw a picture of a butterfly. She held it up to the window and said, "It's lighter!" Nicely done Avi!! You don't know how many times I've tried to get kids to do this very thing. Some of the pictures in the toy are slightly dark and I always tell them to hold it towards the light!!
Here are a couple pictures of Nora, Atley, and Avi reading some books in the Preschool area and doing some Preschool activities. I haven't told the kids yet, but the new digital frame arrived this morning so hopefully we'll have it up and going by tomorrow. They enjoyed the old one so much and I'm excited to get the new one set up for them! We were reading books and one was an ABC Christmas book. We got to "S" and I asked, "Whose name starts with S?" Avi said, "Santa!" Ok, so there was a picture of Santa on the page, but I was still impressed because she usually says, "Svea" or sometimes, "Sissy Sylvie." You nailed it little miss whiz kid!!
