Avi - 10/7/2019

Avilene ate two servings of cheerios and ate banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, no tomatoes, bites of avocado, and ate three servings of watermelon.

First picture; this was at breakfast and Avi was getting some cheerios.  (I need to put those in a smaller, more manageable container.)  Anyhow, notice the small pitcher in front of her bowl.  It has milk in it and they are now pouring their own milk; in their cups as well as cereal bowl.  The pitcher spout flapper (haha - can't think of anything else to call it) is hard for them to open and I have to do it. This morning Avilene said, "I can just us my teeth to open that!!"  That hit my funny bone and I was laughing so hard.  Uhhhh....we don't use our teeth to pry open anything!

Next picture; Atley and Avi were doing the dance game again.  There is no volume control, but Avi was saying, "turn it down." "Turn it up."  Atley would cover the speaker with her hand to "turn it down."  And vice versa.  It was pretty funny and they thought it was funny too!!  :)

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids were busy on toy exchange Monday!!  One to the first things Atley did was read the preschool books.  She was singing songs as well while looking at the books; songs totally unrelated to the books!!  :)  That was driving Avi crazy!      For example. Atley was looking at a book with a beaver (which matched her beaver mask) and she was singing, "Froggie went a courting, hmm hmm...."  Avi said, "That is a beaver, NOT a froggie!!"
