Avi - 5/2/2017

Avilene ate whole wheat english muffin and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of pork chops, whole wheat toast, bites of sweet potatoes, turnips, and red potatoes.  And she had applesauce for her fruit.

Hudson and Avilene cleared all the toys off the shelves and then played with the shakers or noise makers - whatever they are called - for several minutes.  Avilene had been at the mattress trying to get Hudson to join her.  She was yelling, "Bubba, Bubba, Bubba!!"  Gradually louder and more urgent with each yell.  Reid came just before Lunch and I like that Avilene is now calling him "Reido!"

This is typical Avilene interacting with Nora.  She loves to make Nora smile, giggle, laugh or whatever, and she is usually quite successful!

I forgot to make copies for Dot Painting at Art Time so I ran downstairs and made 3 copies.  Avilene stood at the big gate yelling my name the 2 minutes I was out of the room.  It was so cute and I could hear it all! "Ga-ee, Ga-ee, Ga-ee!"  She will frequently do the same thing when Lauralea is in the kitchen.  She'll stand at the gate yelling, "Lee Lee Lee Lee!"  Then when Lauralea looks at her she'll giggle and run to the mattress to jump.  Avi dot painted longer than anyone and worked hard at her picture.  She was very engaged and I loved it.
