Avi - 5/4/2017

Avilene ate waffle and bites of fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of shepard's pie with hamburger, green beans, mashed potatoes, and carrots.  She ate half of toasted rye bread and ate her cherries.

I'm forever calling the kids the wrong names!  When talking to Avi I'll frequently start with Sophie, then Nora, and make it to Avi.  Yesterday Reid said, "Why do you keep calling people names!?!"  LOL!!  Well Reido, you should have been here back when we regularly had 10 - 12 kids!!  Haha!!  Lauralea and I constantly spewed out quite a long list before we hit the right name!!  :)

I could hear Avi reading and then I realized she was saying and singing "falling down, falling down."  It's the "Humpty Dumpty" book.  Good job Avi!!  :)

Here are some pictures from this morning activities!  Avilene is keeping a very close eye on Nora as she starts climbing the steps!  This was Nora's first attempt at the steps and Avi seemed to know that close surveillance was necessary!!  :)  In the 3rd picture Avilene was back on the couch in a similar picture that's in Tuesday's Blog, except she's laying on her back this time.  Here's what the picture doesn't show: directly after the picture she intentionally started scooting off the couch, still laying on her back!  Silly Avi.  I managed to grab her leg to keep her from thumping on her head on the floor!  In the last picture Reid was crawling under the legos table to pout a little because I wasn't responding to his demands to read RIGHT NOW!  Story Time will begin when I finish changing diapers!  Avilene had to check out the situation!!  (And so did Bubba.)
