Avi - 6/9/2020

Avilene had no blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, bites of brown rice, ate a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and two servings of raspberries.  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when the other kids were sleeping.  Avilene worked on coloring some pictures and then worked on puzzles when she got tired of coloring.  This is a new puzzle and the first time she'd seen it.  Good job Avi.

Next picture; Avi, Atley, and Nora doing some activities at the table.  These three girls spent the majority of the morning playing games in the Daycare Room.  (This may have been the only time they were in the Preschool Room.)  And much of the morning was spent playing "Lion King."  "They are lions and we are hyenas!!"  They'd switch up the roles, but it was pretty cool how they kept the game going and improvised as they moved forward.  And it was all done with a minimal amount of controversy.  Occasionally Nora would say, "I am NOT a lion!!"  Avi said, "Ok then, you can be what you want to be!!"  Good work girls.

Next picture; Avi on the top bunk and Svea on the bottom bunk; taking a break from "Lion King" play.  Look how they are positioned.  It'd probably be more comfortable if you'd use the entire bunk. Last picture; Avi examining her mouth.  I asked her what she was looking at and she said, "That thing that's hooked to my tongue."  (Bottom side of her tongue.)  :)
